Women Leaders Program for Girls - September 30
Join us on Saturday, September 30 from 2:00-4:30 PM for girls ages 10-16 for a series of four workshops featuring local women in STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and math) mentoring girls in our community. Brain teaser warm-ups, hands-on activities and lots of conversation between current women leaders and future women leaders. This is a great way for girls to start imagining what their professional life can be like!
The final week of Women Leaders brings engineering and materials science to life at Atlas! We are happy to host mentors Kara Nell, Lead Materials Scientist and Rhiannon Thoresen, Senior Product Manager both from Kimberly-Clark Corporatioin. We’ll begin with mentor introductions discussing these unique career paths and get messy with our brain game warmup. Next, girls will walk through product development as they design their own Kleenex facial tissue before moving on to an additional activity designed by Kimberly-Clark. We’ll end the program with snacks, refreshments and a question and answer session with our mentors!
